Matthew’s career has straddled industry and academia. He is Executive Chairman of Centinus, NatureEye, MyOme, Marble Therapeutics and Natera (NTRA), which is a world leader in genetic diagnostics. He serves as a director, advisor or angel investor to multiple tech companies and nonprofits involved in biotech, machine learning, health services and nature conservation. He has been a consulting professor in Aeronautics and Astronautics at Stanford and visiting faculty in Genetics at Harvard. Companies he founded have won two World Economic Forum Technology Pioneer Awards, granted annually to 20 worldwide, and three Edison Awards. He has authored over 100 peer-reviewed publications and patents, from IEEE Transactions to the top reproductive and oncology journals, SCIENCE and the cover of Nature. He received the Scott Helt Memorial award from IEEE for work in signal processing and navigation. Matthew studied Electrical Engineering and Physics at Stanford, receiving the Levin and Terman awards, the top academic awards from each department, and a graduate fellowship to the School of Engineering where he completed a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering.

Jonathan is a serial founder in both B2C and B2B markets, and brings his entrepreneurial experience and customer focus to Centinus as CEO. In the consumer segment, he founded numerous restaurants, cafes, and the multi-award-winning Bandit Street Food Ltd. In the B2B segment, he co-founded X-trinsix, a specialist consultancy firm with a focus on the Ariba and SAP world market. Jonathan was the Senior Business Development Manager for Lloyd’s List Training, part of the Informa Group, a multi-billion pound publishing and business intelligence group based in London. He is also an experienced educator, having been an award-winning teacher and head of department for a number of prestigious UK schools and institutions. He began his career as a professional actor, writer, and director for the BBC, ITV, and the Royal Shakespeare Company, among others. He has worked on numerous film and theater projects as a scriptwriter and production director and brings visualization, storytelling, and organizational expertise to this project.

Jonathan is co-founder and board member of Natera and an experienced entrepreneur with a record of technology innovation and operational leadership. Prior to Natera, Jonathan co-founded PocketThis, a leading-edge mobile technology provider. As a graduate student at MIT, he focused on large scale personalization, helping develop one of the first personalized news services at the MIT Media Lab. He was an early member of Firefly which was acquired by Microsoft to become Microsoft’s global identity service. Jonathan is an advisor and board member to a number of biotech and technology startups. He holds M.Eng. and B.S. degrees from MIT and patents in internet technology. Jonathan is an avid maker and built his first drone from scratch with his two kids.

With his strong technical credentials and strengths in executive management, strategic and product planning, team leadership, finance, and operations, Gary has launched pivotal new product offerings and intrapreneurial ventures. His experience spans leadership roles with Microsoft, RealNetworks, and Hutchison Whampoa, as well as startup firms, transforming bold new product visions into sustainable revenue performance and commercially-successful market positions. Prior to joining Centinus, Gary was the CEO and co-founder of a global mobile services company, Syntonic Limited, focused on providing mCommerce services to the world’s leading content providers and mobile carriers. Gary received his PhD in High Energy Particle Physics and his Masters in Physics at the University of California, San Diego, and participated as a visiting scholar at the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center.

Michelle Weil is a product and marketing leader with over 20 years of experience in the technology industry. She leads marketing and product at Centinus, driving growth of the company’s AI-powered drone management platform. Michelle began her work in the drone sector at NatureEye, creating immersive remote drone experiences for students and consumers. She has extensive experience launching new products, developing go-to-market strategies, and scaling brands from early stage through growth. She has held senior leadership roles at Willow, Jawbone, Uniform Teeth, and Funny or Die, and also advises multiple startups. She holds an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management and a BA in Business Economics from UC Santa Barbara. Outside of work, Michelle spends time volunteering for organizations including Women DroneResponders and the San Mateo Resource Conservation District, and exploring the world with her two girls.

As a tech visionary with more than 15 years of experience building software for the betterment of the world, Hai has held various positions from a tech lead at start-ups to a Director of Research and Development at DJI. At DJI, he revolutionized flying cameras into aerial robots by inventing and creating a suite of drone SDKs. Hai was responsible for product management and company strategy for the North American market, including designing the roadmap, guiding market expansion, overseeing research and development activities, budgeting, and partnering with other companies to improve technology and design processes. Clients that he has helped integrate drone solutions include Google, Tesla, Microsoft, FedEx, Shell, and the US Government.

Ori is passionate about programming, web development, and drone flight. He co- founded NatureEye to help address environmental challenges, promote awareness about conservation, and bring the wilderness to virtual travelers who would otherwise be unable to experience it. He is experienced with Python and Javascript web development, and specializes in front-end web development.

Bao is a skilled technology professional with expertise in web development, blockchain, and AI. At Centinus, Bao plays a key role in developing advanced security solutions through drone technology and real-time video streaming. With a focus on object detection to identify potential crime and capture license plate details, Bao is dedicated to leveraging innovative technology to improve public safety. Margot is an entrepreneur with more than fifteen years of experience in sustainability, cleantech, and business development. Before joining Centinus, Margot was the founder and Director of Harvard Business School’s Israel Research Office, Director of the Maytiv Center at IDC Herzliya, Israel, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at GreenFuel Technologies, Program Manager at Harvard University’s Office of Sustainability, and a strategy consultant with Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC). She holds an MBA degree from Harvard Business School, an M.A. in Law from the University of Cambridge, and a B.A. degree from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa. She is passionate about environmental causes and sustainability.

Noah is co-founder and Vice President, Field Operations of Airspace Systems Inc. Airspace uses AI and advanced robotics to create fully automated solutions that deliver airspace security against unauthorized or malicious drones. Prior to co-founding Airspace, Noah spent two years as an Assistant Security Director at AlliedBarton Security Services, responsible for a 1 million square foot retail facility serving 560,000 people per month. His prior experience includes commercial drone design, maintenance, and flight operations. Noah is a lifelong aviation enthusiast, earning his pilot’s license at the age of 16, and having diverse unmanned aircraft experience in airplanes, helicopters, multi-copters, gliders, and rockets. He studied Aeronautics/Aviation/Aerospace Science and Technology at San Jose State University.

Aislan is the Vice President of Technology at Airspace Systems Inc. He is a self- taught polymath, entrepreneur and explorer. He has developed more than 50 engineering and software projects, and is a board member and advisor to a number of technology companies. Aislan has published several academic papers and holds multiple patents. He has worked with computers since the PC XT, spanning applications with micro-controlled boards running assembler codes, to the latest multi-core IoT sensors communicating in real-time with cloud servers and reporting AI generated analytics. He obtained an Electrical and Electronics Engineering degree and a Master’s in Microelectronics from University of São Paulo, Brazil, a Ph.D. in Pervasive Computing from Barcelona Supercomputing Center, and conducted postdoctoral research at the University of California, Berkeley. He is an avid drummer, head-banger, and challenge-seeker.

John has worked in digital media and software product development for over 25 years. In that time, he’s become a recognized leader in video technology and contributed to media standards at the W3C, IETF, CTA, and elsewhere. At On2 Technologies, John managed the company’s VPx video codecs, which were used in Adobe Flash, Skype, Real Player, and Yahoo Messenger. After Google acquired On2, he managed HTML5 video APIs and playback experience in the Chrome browser and led the WebM Project for open video. He joined JW Player in 2014 and led several product teams there before taking over JW Platform and growing it into a market-leading SaaS video platform. In August 2023, he shifted his career focus to AI product development and joined Nuvalence as a product leader in their Public Sector business.
